Inspired by the hit medical series DOOGIE HOWSER, M.D., Disney+ has debuted the original series DOOGIE KAMEALOHA, M.D., centered around a 16-year-old girl in modern-day Hawaiʻi juggling a medical career and life as a teenager. Stream Episode 1 of the show on Sherpa Stream, then join us for the conversation "C3: DOOGIE KAMEALOHA, M.D. – A New Legacy", a behind-the-scenes virtual discussion about creating the show, production in Hawaiʻi during COVID, spam musubi, and more. Featured guests include Peyton Elizabeth Lee (“Doogie Kamealoha”), Jason Scott Lee (“Benny Kamealoha”), Creator & Executive Producer Kourtney Kang, and Executive Producer Melvin Mar. Moderated by Shanon Serikaku.

Please note that the virtual screening of Episode 1 will start on September 27 at 5pm PT on the platform Sherpa Stream. You will need to log in with the same email address you RSVPed with in order to watch the episode.

The virtual panel "C3: DOOGIE KAMEALOHA, M.D. – A New Legacy" will premiere after the episode stream on the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival Facebook and Youtube channels.
